In the golden autumn of October, good news comes frequently! The total contracting project for the welding control system of FAW-Volkswagen Audi_X89 undertaken by our institute has recently completed its final acceptance. The acceptance of this project is another affirmation of the overall contracting capability of our institute by FAW-Volkswagen, further consolidating our traditional advantage in electric control at FAW-Volkswagen.
The total contracting project for the welding control system of FAW-Volkswagen Audi_X89 (a total of 19 sets of control systems) started design in October 2016, entered the factory for installation in February 2017, achieved trial production on the Bora line in April of the same year, realized VFF in July, achieved SOP in March 2018, completed joint acceptance by three departments in July, and completed final acceptance in October 2018. Behind each compact timeline is the hard work and selfless dedication of the institute's leaders and team members. The biggest difficulty faced during the project implementation was the tight schedule and heavy tasks. The time for each link, including drawing design, control cabinet production, on-site installation, and debugging, was highly compressed. Under the leadership of Minister Xie Qiming, project manager Zou Yangfang led team members Cui Hongyu, Zhao Lubo, Lu Wenlong, Zhu Shicheng, Wang Wei, Liu Hailong, and others to give up countless holidays and work overtime to save time.
The project team adhered to the philosophy of our institute to 'regard user needs as our own responsibility and create competitiveness for users', adopting a plan of simultaneous design, procurement, manufacturing, construction, and debugging. The division of labor among team members with multiple roles and tasks ensured that every key node of the project was completed as planned, achieving high quality throughout the project with no delays and zero accidents. A hundred-foot pole reaches further. The smooth acceptance of this project will surely issue another brilliant business card for our electric control engineering and lay a solid foundation for our institute to explore a broader industry market in the future!
