In October, Shanghai has a refreshing autumn, with the fragrance of osmanthus flowers in the air, and good news comes along with the floral scent. The wax injection projects for SAIC Volkswagen LavidaNF and Gran Lavida undertaken by our company have both completed final acceptance simultaneously, with an expected full payment by the end of the year.
The SAIC Volkswagen Lavida Family wax injection project is an expansion project for the waxing line in the painting workshop, spanning two locations and three lines. The LavidaNF wax injection project at the Changsha factory was installed on-site in March 2017 and successfully completed final acceptance in March 2018. The LavidaNF wax injection project and Gran Lavida wax injection project at Shanghai Anting Plant No. 2 were installed on-site in October 2017 and recently completed final acceptance. The wax injection project for the Lavida family series models is the first project where SAIC Volkswagen hired Volkswagen Germany for planning support, with the entire implementation process audited and approved by Volkswagen Germany. The wax injection machinery for Lavida Family was independently designed by the Ninth Institute, with chief designer Ma Junhui using CatiaV5 3D software for forward design. The design plan was approved in one review by experts from Volkswagen Germany, proving the strong capabilities of the Ninth Institute in designing waxing fixtures. The construction of the project overcame immense pressure from a short timeline and heavy tasks, as well as harsh high-temperature environments. Under the leadership of project manager Zhang Shuhua, team members Wang Jie, Liu Yang, Liang Jianxun, Du Weili, and elite fitters from Lande Company worked together sincerely. Through scientific and reasonable construction planning, they managed to complete all equipment installation and manual debugging of the waxing line in just 7 days while ensuring meticulous and safe construction. After completion, users exclaimed, 'Impossible! A miracle!'

Experts from Volkswagen Germany conducted audits and approvals of the waxing equipment in Changsha and Anting in October and December 2017 respectively. The German experts highly praised the waxing equipment built by the Ninth Institute and commended the new sealing materials developed by the Ninth Institute, which are now being promoted within SAIC Volkswagen Group. Both LavidaNF and Gran Lavida models passed the corrosion audit by Volkswagen Germany's quality assurance department in July 2018 with a 'zero' defect quality rating for waxing. The Ninth Institute once again proved its strength by stating, 'For cavity waxing, we are the most professional!' Currently, orders for both models of SAIC Volkswagen's Lavida are continuously coming in, with full-load production on double shifts across two locations and three lines, achieving a daily output of 1,650 units and creating significant economic benefits for users. The implementation phase of this project coincided with a critical bidding period for SAIC Volkswagen's Anting 120JHP waxing project, and its successful implementation strongly supported the company's strategic policy to deepen its presence in the SAIC Volkswagen market.
