The grand ceremony for the small batch trial production of the non-metal coating line of FAW Jiefang was held.

On September 1, 2018, the FAW Jiefang non-metal coating line general contracting project reached an important milestone, successfully completing the small batch trial production of 30 hanging products. At 14:00 in the afternoon, the small batch trial production was grandly held at the newly built non-metal coating line. Senior Chief Engineer Li Chunping, Non-Metal Coating Workshop Director Ren Minghua, the owner's project management team, as well as Yang Yumin, Deputy General Manager of the Ninth Institute, the on-site project management team, suppliers, and more than 60 people witnessed this historic moment.
At the ceremony, Senior Chief Engineer Li Chunping first reviewed the entire project construction process, fully affirmed the achievements of the Ninth Institute project team, and thanked the entire team for their hard work in overcoming difficulties to ensure the project's goals were met. He also urged everyone to continue striving during the subsequent debugging and ramp-up phases to create new brilliance. Deputy General Manager Yang Yumin expressed gratitude on behalf of the Ninth Institute for Jiefang Company's trust and support over the years, stating that they would do their utmost to cooperate with the workshop in subsequent debugging and ramp-up work. Amid warm applause, representatives from Jiefang Company and the Ninth Institute jointly unveiled a red silk cloth covering the hanging tools, marking the successful small batch trial production of the non-metal coating line. The project began construction on June 29, 2017, achieved warm closure of the factory on November 21, 2017, started single machine debugging on May 30, 2018, completed pre-treatment and paint troughs in August 2018, achieved the offline of non-metal parts on the first hanging tool on August 9, 2018, and successfully completed small batch trial production on September 1, 2018.
During the project implementation process, on-site project management members overcame many external adverse factors, strictly followed the Ninth Institute's project management system, effectively controlled project processes, and actively showcased daily management results. The implementation effect of the project received unanimous praise from all parties and became a benchmark for other projects to learn from. The successful small batch trial production marks a key step for Jiefang's newly built non-metal coating line towards production launch and lays a solid foundation for subsequent project debugging and mass production.
