On February 9, the company held the 2017 annual summary and commendation conference themed "New Era, New Starting Point, New Leap" at the First Automobile Hall. Nearly 700 participants attended, including the company's leadership team, senior managers, business directors, chief engineers, award representatives, and long-term employees.

Wang Lizhi, the chairman of the company and secretary of the party committee, delivered a New Year greeting on behalf of the company’s party committee and leadership team. He led all senior managers to extend New Year wishes to employees and expressed heartfelt thanks for their hard work over the past year! He also offered sincere blessings to the families of employees who support the company's development. In his speech, Wang Lizhi pointed out that in 2017, the company closely focused on its annual work guidelines, actively responded to opportunities and challenges brought by new business formats, implemented significant organizational changes and personnel system reforms. With the joint efforts of all employees, the company achieved new breakthroughs in operational performance and successfully exceeded its annual reform and development tasks. The year 2018 is a key year for the company to implement the "13361" development plan and deepen reforms to promote enterprise transformation and upgrading. The company will thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the 19th National Congress, with "adjusting structure, building brand, strengthening foundation, and increasing vitality" as the main line of work. It will focus on "reform, innovation, capability, and growth," strengthen comprehensive party leadership, market development, customer service, project management, technological innovation, procurement system construction, foundational system construction, and continuously deepen reforms to enhance capability, efficiency, management level, and competitiveness. This will ensure growth in both rates and achievement of operational goals for 2018.

At the meeting, General Manager Liu Shixin announced the commendation decisions. A total of 53 advanced collectives and 119 advanced individuals received recognition from both party and administrative evaluations. Company leaders presented awards to recipients including advanced party branches for 2017, advanced collectives, outstanding key projects within the party, excellent project teams, model employees, outstanding Communist Party members, excellent party workers, brand projects by party members, and brand teams by party members. The annual summary video was played at the meeting, vividly and in detail reviewing the achievements made by the company over the past year from five aspects: market expansion, project control, technological research and development, solidifying foundations, and deepening party building. The commendation segment featured wonderful performances such as dances, song-and-dance performances, and choirs organized by the company’s labor union with employees directing themselves. Among them was a rearranged song "We are ready!" led by General Manager Liu Shixin and Deputy Secretary Mu Xuefeng.It expressed employees' dedication to their jobs, diligent research spirit, striving upward mentality, as well as their aspirations for a bright future at Jiuyuan. This greatly encouraged all attendees.

In the new year, under the leadership of the group company's party committee, all employees will remain true to their original aspirations and missions with confidence and unity. With a spirit of seizing every moment and an indomitable attitude, they will strive to win the tough battle in 2018 to ensure that annual work goals are achieved while steadfastly moving towards the vision of becoming an "international first-class domestic leading automotive manufacturing engineering service provider!"
