On September 24, the engineering company held a "Construction Site Safety Work Promotion Meeting" in the conference room on the 12th floor. The meeting reported on the safety production management situation at various construction sites and deployed recent safety production work. Project leaders and safety officers from the engineering company attended the meeting. The meeting conveyed the spirit of the notice from the automotive district regarding the special inspection for fire prevention in winter construction, and reported on the group's special inspection of fire safety at FAW's construction sites and incidents at individual projects. The general manager of the engineering company, Sun Lianhong, organized everyone to study again the relevant safety production, environmental, and occupational health management agreements in the construction contract, as well as documents related to major education, major inspections, and major rectifications regarding safety hazards from our institute. He emphasized that we must not overlook some safety production issues exposed by certain projects and must effectively ensure safety production work.
In light of the current situation, he urged everyone to pay close attention to safety production management at construction sites and emphasized the following measures.
1. In engineering construction, implement pre-reminders, in-process supervision, and post-inspections to incorporate a preventive safety policy into daily project management.
2. Strengthen safety management; project team members should ensure comprehensive safety management with dedicated personnel overseeing key areas and critical links.
3. Update on-site safety warning images in a timely manner as the project progresses, creating promotional boards to inform supervising units and construction units for inspection and rectification.
4. Based on the progress of on-site construction, timely improve the content of the hazard identification table. Recently complete risk identification analysis for current and future construction processes within one month, including risk sources, risk characteristics, protective measures, inspectors and inspection times, responsible persons and implementation times, as well as implementation status, incorporating this into visual management; based on this, create a "Daily Inspection Checklist" for easier checking.
5. Improve the approval process and forms for hot work permits; clarify work locations and times before approval, check whether safety protective measures are in place according to the hazard identification table; protective measures must be approved before proceeding; otherwise, they will not be processed.
6. Inspect for potential safety hazards from a three-dimensional intersection construction perspective based on work locations. He requested that each project team conduct a self-inspection against our institute's and automotive district's relevant documents using the "Construction Site Fire Safety Self-Inspection Form" and "Construction Site Safety Production Inspection Form" to quickly identify problems and eliminate hazards; this work should be completed before the holiday. At the meeting, everyone unified their thoughts and raised their awareness. Project leaders and safety officers expressed their commitment to ensuring effective safety management at construction sites as required by the company, preventing issues before they arise, and maintaining constant vigilance over fire safety work.
