Recently, our company officially signed a contract for the general contracting project of an annual production line of 150,000 new energy vehicles with Leap Motor Co., Ltd.
Leap Motor Co., Ltd. is an innovative new energy vehicle company headquartered in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, and is a subsidiary of the listed company Zhejiang Dahua Technology Co., Ltd. The Zhejiang Leap New Energy Vehicle project covers an area of 500 acres, with a total investment of 2.5 billion yuan in the first phase, and will produce three sedan models: S01, S02, and T01. This electric vehicle assembly line features advanced technology and top-notch configuration, representing a high-level production line among domestic new energy vehicle companies. It is another assembly line contracted by our company following high-level assembly lines in FAW-Volkswagen Foshan, Qingdao, Tianjin, and Changfeng Leopard in Changsha and Jingmen. The construction engineering design of this factory is undertaken by China National Automotive Industry Corporation, and our company won this project through bidding, reflecting the strength of the Ninth Institute in general contracting for assembly lines.
In recent years, our company has vigorously developed assembly line technology and equipment, successively researching and developing a series of new technologies and equipment such as heavy-duty EHB and liftable sliding plates. The Leap New Energy assembly production line will apply some of the technologies developed by our company. Through this project, our company will further enhance its technical capabilities and management level in general contracting for assembly lines, making greater contributions to the development of the automotive industry.
