On April 10, the Party Committee of the Ninth Institute held a launch meeting for the theme practice activity "Improving Quality and Reducing Costs, Showcasing Job Excellence," chaired by Mu Xuefeng, Deputy Secretary of the Company Party Committee. Members of the company leadership team, senior managers, and secretaries and organizational committee members of various directly affiliated party branches and general branches attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Deputy Secretary Mu Xuefeng explained the company's theme practice activity plan and overall work deployment from several aspects: guiding ideology, organizational structure and division of responsibilities, goal decomposition, implementation plan, and activity requirements. Liu Shixin, Deputy Secretary of the Company Party Committee and General Manager, issued responsibility letters for the 2017 internal project tackling initiatives to the secretaries of various directly affiliated party branches and general branches.
Wang Lizhi, Chairman of the Company and Secretary of the Party Committee, pointed out in his concluding remarks that deepening theme practice activities is a practical action for party organizations at all levels to implement their responsibilities in managing the party and to carry out the spirit of the state-owned enterprise party building work conference. It is an important measure to ensure "implementation." Each party branch should focus on quality and cost indicators to carry out theme practice activities well. Currently, various party branches and general branches have launched three major actions: "Leading, Tackling Difficulties, and Vanguard" around their goals. The topics selected for completed internal project tackling initiatives are well aligned with current practical work, capturing key points and basically covering the company's key tasks, reflecting a sense of responsibility. Regarding how to further advance the next steps in theme practice activities, Secretary Wang Lizhi put forward clear requirements.
