On February 8, the company held the 2017 Confidentiality Committee meeting and the first confidentiality work meeting in the third conference room on the fifth floor of Building 1. Members of the company's Confidentiality Committee, relevant responsible colleagues from various functional departments, the Engineering Institute, and subsidiaries attended the meeting. The company's chairman and party secretary Wang Lizhi, general manager and party deputy secretary Liu Shixin were invited to attend the meeting and delivered speeches. The meeting was chaired by party deputy secretary, discipline inspection commission secretary, and trade union chairman Mu Xuefeng.
The meeting conveyed the key tasks of recent confidentiality work and the spirit of related work meetings from the group company, focusing on learning the principles of confidentiality work and methods for classification. The meeting heard a report on the overall situation of the company's confidentiality work in 2016 and reviewed and approved six proposals, including a proposal to supplement members of the Confidentiality Committee and a revision of the rules for Confidentiality Committee meetings.
Company chairman and party secretary Wang Lizhi put forward new requirements for the company's confidentiality work in light of the current confidentiality situation. Wang Lizhi pointed out that all departments should attach great importance to confidentiality work and effectively enhance their sense of responsibility for confidentiality. First, awareness of confidentiality must be raised; it is not just for managerial personnel but should be improved by all employees. Second, confidentiality responsibilities must be implemented; whoever is responsible should take charge, ensuring responsibilities are put into practice. Third, supervision and inspection should be strengthened; proactive measures should be taken to focus on preventing loss and leakage of confidential information.
