On January 20, the 2017 anti-corruption and integrity construction work meeting of the Ninth Institute was held in the conference room on the fifth floor of Building No. 1. The meeting summarized the disciplinary inspection and supervision work of the Ninth Institute in 2016 and deployed key tasks for disciplinary inspection and supervision in 2017. Members of the institute's leadership team, party committee members, discipline inspection committee members, all senior managers, main responsible persons from various departments, secretaries of various directly affiliated general branches and branches, and discipline inspection committee members attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Liu Shixin, deputy secretary of the institute's party committee.
Han Zhongkai, director of the institute's discipline inspection and supervision office, comprehensively reviewed and summarized the key work of 2016 on behalf of the discipline inspection committee. He deployed over 50 key tasks for anti-corruption and integrity construction in 2017 around five aspects: infrastructure construction, supervision and accountability, performance supervision, integrity education, case handling, and case investigation.
Mu Xuefeng, secretary of the institute's discipline inspection committee, conveyed the requirements of the notice from the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council regarding the implementation of the spirit of the eight central regulations during the New Year and Spring Festival period. He reminded all participants to maintain integrity during the holiday season and required all departments to adhere to the requirements of both the group company's discipline inspection committee and the company's discipline inspection committee to ensure self-discipline during the Spring Festival, uphold disciplinary bottom lines, and prevent a resurgence of 'four winds' issues. He also proposed four requirements for the key work of the institute's discipline inspection committee in 2017: 1. Leaders at all levels and party members should continue to deeply study General Secretary Xi Jinping's series of speeches at the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection meetings to continuously improve their theoretical cultivation. 2. Heads of departments and grassroots party branch secretaries should fully play their roles in party style and clean government construction responsibilities and supervision responsibilities, implement responsibility areas for party style and clean government construction according to new organizational structures, and effectively take on 'dual responsibilities' for their positions. 3. Strengthen education and supervision; while ensuring daily integrity education is conducted well, focus on supervising key positions. Develop targeted supervision measures for key positions based on job responsibilities and carry out daily supervision according to these measures. 4. The discipline inspection and supervision department should conduct special supervision inspections on key engineering projects; each department should cooperate with the discipline inspection and supervision department based on self-supervision to promptly address any identified issues.
