On August 26, the first meeting of the first board of directors of the Ninth Institute in 2016 was held in Meeting Room 309 of Building 6 in the North District of the company. The meeting was attended by Wang Lizhi, Chairman of the Ninth Institute, internal director Liu Shixin, external directors Fu Bingfeng, Liu Liyan, Wang Daning, Xu Wancai, and employee director Mu Xuefeng. Also present were Zhang Xuezhi, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, employee supervisors Chen Jianjun and Wei Ye, Deputy General Managers Tian Wenbiao and Yang Yumin, and responsible colleagues from the Group Company's Board Office, Management Department, and Party Committee Inspection Team. The meeting was chaired by Wang Lizhi.

The board of directors reviewed and approved proposals regarding the election of the chairman, the appointment of the board secretary, the draft amendments to the company’s articles of association, the rules for board meetings, the working rules for the board secretary, and a summary of the company's operational work in the first half of 2016 along with plans for the second half. The meeting also heard a report on the company's organizational structure adjustment plan.

At the meeting, all directors fully affirmed the operational development of the Ninth Institute in recent years and provided opinions and suggestions for its future development based on the current market environment and the direction of group company development. Chairman Wang Lizhi pointed out that in light of reduced new projects within the group and intensified market competition in the industry, the Ninth Institute must keep pace with market trends, leverage technological innovation to play a differentiated competitive strategy advantage, and promote company development. While ensuring key project construction for the group, it should also fully engage in industry markets and gradually expand market share. He emphasized that after the meeting, it is essential to earnestly implement the spirit and requirements of the meeting to ensure smooth progress in work and achieve annual task objectives.
