In order to deeply implement the requirements of the company's party committee for strict governance of the party in 2016 and ensure better development of various tasks, on July 12, the company’s party committee organized a summary exchange meeting for the first half of the year for party branches (general branches). Members of the company leadership team, party committee members, secretaries of party branches (general branches), organizational committee members, and relevant personnel from the party and mass work department and discipline inspection office attended the meeting.
At the meeting, each party branch (general branch) reported successively on aspects such as 'Overview of the Party Branch, Party Building KPI and Main Work Completion Status, Key Work for the Second Half of the Year, Existing Problems and Suggestions'. After each report from a party branch, a member of the company leadership team provided comments, pointing out good practices in the work of the party branch, existing shortcomings, and specific requirements. During the comments, leaders fully affirmed the achievements made by each branch in strictly following the requirements of the company’s party committee, combining departmental realities, earnestly carrying out party building work, implementing 'Two Studies and One Action' learning education, emphasizing style construction and ideological cultural guidance, leading party members and masses to deepen thematic practical activities. They required that in the next steps, emphasis should be placed on effectively implementing 'Two Studies and One Action' learning education and deeply practicing user awareness, strengthening team building and cultivating young talents, leading a broad mass of party members around the center to play a pioneering role, improving quality and efficiency based on their positions, and fully implementing good work for the second half of the year to provide ideological and organizational guarantees for completing annual operational tasks.
Wang Lizhi, Chairman of the Board and Secretary of the Party Committee, pointed out in his concluding speech that this meeting marks half a year of summarizing party building work and sharing experiences, laying a good foundation for implementing future party building work. He also put forward specific requirements for future work:
1. Further enhance awareness and strengthen party building work. We must firmly grasp that good party building work is our greatest political achievement and ensure that all aspects of party building work are solidly implemented. For an enterprise, only with unified thoughts and consistent direction can actions align and goals be achieved. As a technology service-oriented enterprise, talent is core. We should be people-oriented, emphasize ideological guidance, and focus our work on team building. Key party members should act as flags to play a pioneering role; leading party members should take the lead in setting examples and shoulder responsibilities.
2. Deeply carry out 'Two Studies and One Action' learning education to solidify grassroots party members' style transformation. Broad party members should deeply study the Party Constitution, Party regulations, and a series of speeches; reflect on themselves against their oath upon joining the Party; further strengthen their ideals and beliefs; uphold the stance and style of Communist Party members; enhance transformation in ideological style, work style, and lifestyle; connect theory with practice; closely relate to the masses; abide by rules and discipline; be loyal to the Party; actively work; and not forget their original intentions. We should use the strategy of building an internationally first-class Ninth Institute to guide broad party members to adhere to problem orientation and unity of knowledge and action; improve quality and efficiency based on their positions; actively engage in the development cause of Ninth Institute. Each party branch should innovate methods for party building work and further strengthen communication in this area.
3. Strengthen cultural construction and practice user awareness. Building a century-old store relies on cultural shaping and inheritance. Internally we are people-oriented; externally we are customer-centered. The large discussion on user awareness is a good start; we must ensure that all improvement measures from this discussion are implemented with an emphasis on action. We are part of the user value chain; we must learn to think from the user's perspective; reflect on how to create competitiveness for users; implement the core concept of 'creating competitiveness for users' into actions in our daily work.
