[Sun Deshuang and Ma Deming reported] To implement the Group's requirements for 'Safety Month' and enhance the safety awareness of the on-site team, as well as to fulfill safety responsibilities, on the morning of June 17, the total contracting team of the FAW-Volkswagen First Plant Body Assembly Station project, which applied for the Youth Safety Production Demonstration Post from the Ninth Institute, carried out a themed activity for Safety Production Month at the construction site of the body assembly station. Huang Dawei, director of the Mechanical Equipment Room of the Ninth Institute, Lin Wanli, head of planning at Volkswagen, and nearly 20 members from the project teams of both the Ninth Institute and the construction party participated in the event.
During the event, the theme of Safety Production Month in 2016, 'Strengthen Safety Development Concepts and Improve National Safety Quality,' was explained along with the Group's safety production requirements and activities for Safety Month. Each responsible person reported on the progress of project production safety work, analyzed potential safety hazards that might arise, formulated targeted rectification measures, provided feedback on the implementation effects of hazard rectification, and proposed work plans for the next phase. All management and construction personnel on site studied the safety construction specifications displayed in the Safety Production Month activity boards, received education on accident case warnings, and solemnly signed to ensure safety production. Sun Deshuang, project manager of the Ninth Institute, concluded by stating that the Ninth Institute will work together with all relevant parties to firmly establish the concept that 'responsibility for production safety is heavier than Mount Tai,' adhere to the principle that 'production obeys safety, and safety is above all,' and provide a safe and stable environment guarantee for the smooth implementation of the project.
The implementation of this activity reflects the Ninth Institute's management philosophy of 'safety production is people-oriented,' further strengthens on-site production safety awareness, creates a good atmosphere for focusing on safety production in contracted projects, and lays a solid foundation for safe and orderly project implementation.
