[Field Report] On June 7, the Youth League Committee of the Ninth Institute welcomed more than 10 high school teachers and students from Northeast Normal University Affiliated High School for the first time, conducting a 'Youth Dream Seeking at the Ninth Institute' career experience day activity, providing guidance and assistance for students to learn in the corporate classroom and plan their future career development.
The Youth League Committee set the experience content based on the characteristics of the Ninth Institute and the students' preliminary professional intentions, focusing on the corporate culture of the Ninth Institute and various design specialties of the School of Architectural Engineering, with the main experience venue arranged in the School of Architectural Engineering. In the morning, Secretary Zhang Xing of the Youth League Committee warmly welcomed the visiting teachers and students on behalf of the Ninth Institute and briefly introduced the corporate culture of the Ninth Institute as a cradle for automotive factory design. She led the students to visit the East Second Floor and East-Central Building Cultural Corridor, where curious students asked many questions, which were answered one by one by the Youth League Committee. Zhang Tingting and Jiang Wei from the architecture major shared interesting stories about their studies abroad with the teachers and students, providing valuable advice for studying abroad. In the afternoon, six 'little lecturers' from various majors in the School of Architectural Engineering, including Shi Mengxi, Qu Sijia, Dong Jie, Naren Tuya, Li Zhengyan, and Tian Ye, introduced relevant university study content, work content and characteristics at the Ninth Institute, as well as development directions and achievements in their respective majors to provide references for students with related career plans. In addition to showcasing relevant professional knowledge, middle school students also entered office areas to closely experience work scenes. The working technicians enthusiastically explained professional design processes and related content to them. During break time, the Youth League Committee also organized sports interactions between students and staff at the Ninth Institute. The lecturers led middle school students in activities such as handball, basketball, and tennis in the activity area of the Ninth Institute, allowing them to experience the rich sports activities and wide-ranging interests of staff outside of work. Finally, Secretary Zhang Xing, six lecturers, and participating teachers and students shared their experiences and happily concluded a day of career experience activities.
This event not only allowed more middle school students and parents to gain an in-depth understanding of the work content and environment at the Ninth Institute but also provided candid advice from young people at the Ninth Institute regarding future professional choices and career planning for middle school students, pointing them towards direction and goals. The career experience day not only showcased the positive spirit and love for work among young people at the Ninth Institute but also highlighted its harmonious working atmosphere and good working environment, providing a perfect one-day experience activity for participating middle school students and parents.
