The 23rd Employee Sports Meeting organized by China First Automobile Group Corporation is in full swing. On the morning of June 4, with the sound of a gunshot, the group company's cross-country relay race kicked off at the beautiful Jingyuetan Forest Park, with over 300 athletes from 26 participating units ready to go. The 13 members of the No. 9 Institute representative team fought hard and achieved excellent results. Each unit needed to send 13 athletes to participate in an 18-kilometer relay run around the lake, averaging over a thousand meters per athlete. Based on registration and usual performance, the No. 9 Institute labor union conducted a selection process and sent a representative team composed of coach Sui Zhen and athletes Liu Ying, Zheng Wandong, Li Donglu, Bai Yunjie, Gao Yong, Zhao Chunlai, Zhou He, Jiang Yanhong, Gao Shuang, Zhang Xing, Chen Delin, Wei Ye, and Xia Nan. In order to achieve ideal results, the team members actively prepared before the race and gave their all during the competition. The relay baton was passed from one athlete to another as they overcame numerous difficulties under the scorching sun and successfully completed the entire race, ultimately achieving a commendable time of 1 hour and 24 minutes, setting a new record for our institute's cross-country relay race.
The cross-country relay race concluded successfully, but the unity and cohesion among everyone have not dissipated; it will always linger in the hearts of everyone at the No. 9 Institute, ready to embrace the next challenge!
