[Jing Fengchun reports] To encourage young employees' enthusiasm for learning and work, and to help new employees integrate into the big family of the Ninth Institute, on the afternoon of September 28, our institute held the 2012 Annual University Graduate Learning and Growth Award ceremony and new employee welcome meeting at the Garden Hotel. The meeting was attended by our institute's president Liu Songping, party secretary Wang Bing, and retired leader Jiang Dianyiao. Nearly a hundred people participated in the meeting, including members of the institute's leadership team, department leaders, youth league cadres, as well as the 2012 'University Student Growth Award' winners and their mentors, representatives of previous award winners, and new employees. The meeting was hosted by Vice President Yang Yumin.
At the meeting, Deputy Minister of the Comprehensive Department Chu Wen introduced the basic situation of 24 new university graduates who joined in 2012 one by one. Party Secretary Wang Bing delivered a welcome speech to the new employees and congratulated the young employees on their achievements over the past year. Vice President Tian Wenbiao read out the 'Ninth Institute 2012 University Student Growth Award Commendation Decision' on behalf of the institute's party committee. Ten comrades including Liu Qinghai, Zhang Junhua, Sun Jianbo, Yin Xiaodong, Li Honghai, Liu Chengliang, Wang Chengming, Li Shengfeng, Li Bo, and Qin Yuping were awarded the Ninth Institute 2012 University Student Growth Award. The institute leaders presented certificates and flowers to the award-winning youth. Li Honghai and Zhao Lubo spoke on behalf of the Ninth Institute 2012 University Student Growth Award winners and the new employees of 2012 respectively.
At the meeting, the new employees of 2012 also performed wonderful artistic programs they created themselves. Their talented performances won rounds of applause and cheers from the attending employees. After the program ended, department leaders presented Mid-Autumn Festival gifts to their respective new employees. Finally, President Liu Songping delivered an enthusiastic speech and further expressed hopes and requirements for the growth of young employees. The meeting concluded in a pleasant and warm atmosphere.
