[Cui Song reported] In order to enhance the team spirit and collective cohesion among employees, and to showcase their positive demeanor, the youth basketball team of the Ninth Institute actively responded to the group's '23rd Employee Sports Meeting Basketball Competition' event. Under the guidance of the Ninth Institute's labor union and youth league, they participated in the group basketball competition from April 15 to 25.
A total of 24 representative teams participated in this competition. The Ninth Institute's representative team, composed of young employees including Wang Zhiqiang, Ma Hui, Zhang Tianshuo, Xiao Yougen, Teng Fei, Yang Ji, Sui Zhen, Chen Donglong, Li Wei, Wang Hongliang, Wang Bolong, Zhao Di, and Cui Song, fought hard through five rounds of competition. Although they did not advance further, they still achieved a commendable record of three wins and two losses, while also setting a new record for the number of wins in previous competitions. During the entire competition period, the Ninth Institute's youth basketball team displayed excellent teamwork. Once on the court, whether on offense or defense, the players gave their all without any slack. On the court, members of the Ninth Institute's youth basketball team fought bravely against strong opponents; off the court, the cheerleading team was enthusiastic, cheering and shouting to support their team. All athletes, staff members, and spectators from the Ninth Institute performed outstandingly, reflecting not only the sports spirit of 'friendship first, competition second' but also showcasing the employees' vigorous pursuit and relentless work attitude.
