According to the overall work deployment of the Ninth Academy and in conjunction with the annual planning of the department, in the first quarter, the Manufacturing Technology Institute closely collaborated with various brother departments amidst numerous bidding and preliminary projects starting simultaneously. They took multiple measures, focused on customer needs, deepened processes, and conducted advanced design to successfully complete all tasks.
Advanced design supports operations and seizes new markets. To capture the new opportunities presented by the large-scale construction of new energy vehicle factories, the Manufacturing Institute quickly responded in cooperation with the operations department, promptly forming elite teams to jointly tackle design bidding projects. After the launch of the Wuxi Yujie project for 150,000 new energy vehicles, department leaders and chief engineers coordinated arrangements, and within a week, the general layout personnel determined three preferred plans, while process personnel established a reasonable plan in just two days. After winning the bid, the team quickly went to Qihe, Shandong, to sincerely serve and refine design content for the owner. For the Jinzhou Huatai project of 150,000 new energy vehicles, the project team conducted on-site inspections in Jinzhou, negotiated design prerequisites in Beijing, and communicated detailed design matters in Shanghai. The team's collaborative efforts and meticulous service attitude, along with their pursuit of excellence in professional quality, earned recognition from the owners. Numerous preliminary design projects such as the AVIC Hefei New Energy Project, Geely Yiwu New Energy Project, AVIC Ganzhou New Energy Project, Nigeria Liberation Truck Project, and FAW Debao New Energy are being vigorously developed. Bidding projects like Shandong Baoya, Hunan Changfeng, Yixing WM Motor, and Kinmen New Energy Vehicles are also actively underway. Each project team collaborates with operational departments to deepen processes continuously and enhance our institute's influence in the automotive industry.
Reasonable allocation of resources deepens processes to ensure existing projects. While striving to seize new markets, the human resources situation is quite severe. Leaders of departments and various professional offices reasonably allocate resources and build talent pipelines to ensure quality and progress across existing projects. In the Volkswagen DY project, to achieve better service outcomes, the process team has stationed at the DY project building while also attending to other projects, taking responsibility proactively to address personnel shortages from Volkswagen. In the Steyr (Changzhou) annual production design project for 110,000 engines, the Ninth Academy provided comprehensive process support as a process design unit to create core competitiveness for users. Projects such as Volkswagen Qingdao Plant No. 5 and Tianjin Plant No. 6, multiple FAW Car technical reform projects, Volkswagen T99NF, Volkswagen Q Plant, Liberation J7 project, Geely Xiangtan among many others are also progressing in an orderly manner.
Improving quality and efficiency through innovative design to achieve practical results. In accordance with the requirements of the Operations Control Department in March, the institute organized to implement our new design standards. Each professional office studied the depth format of new design documents separately to improve quality and efficiency while standardizing document quality. Additionally, in line with our three-dimensional design work requirements under the guidance of the Technical Development Department and Chief Engineer's Office, department leaders unified deployment so that each professional office developed detailed work plans for their three-dimensional design projects. In the first quarter, tasks such as three-dimensional forward design in Foshan Phase II assembly workshop have been completed; other professional three-dimensional design projects have also been launched successively as we strive towards achieving comprehensive three-dimensional forward design goals.
Among numerous projects, a group of outstanding employees who are willing to dedicate themselves and prioritize collective interests over personal ones has emerged. Employees such as Huang Yongbo, Ji Liang, Liu Shuyan, Zhang Qian, Xue Wei, Du Qinghui, Tong Jingru, Xiang Fei have continuously traveled for business after the Spring Festival while voluntarily giving up weekend rest time; Li Yanchun and Li Chengguo have simultaneously led multiple large-scale projects while keeping an eye on both overall strategy and minute details becoming 'trusted friends' for owners and 'backbones' for teams; He Xiaoqing has taken on multiple important project design tasks while being pregnant yet often works overtime; Liu Chengliang, Yang Yaoyong, Li Lin, Wu Yongtao have worked overnight for several consecutive days to ensure project progress.
