The MB8L electronic control transformation project at the FAW-Volkswagen Changchun plant has officially started production.

[Yang Xiaolin reports] Recently, the MB8L electric control transformation project at the FAW-Volkswagen Changchun factory has been successfully implemented and has entered the production phase. The production line has officially been put into use, with the transformed production line meeting production rhythm requirements and operating stably.
As we all know, the Magotan is a star product in the B-class car market for FAW-Volkswagen, consistently ranking among the top three in monthly sales within its segment. It has high product value and substantial profit per vehicle, and every day of production stoppage results in significant losses for FAW-Volkswagen. Our project team, consisting of Duan Rui, Li Shengfeng, and He Qidong, utilized the Spring Festival holiday to complete the transformation and related debugging work on the Magotan production line. The production line has successfully reached production capacity and meets acceptance conditions, ensuring user interests.
The project officially commenced on the first day of the Spring Festival holiday. The three members of the project team reported to work on time at 7:30 AM for eight consecutive days, working until 4:00 AM the next day. The streets during the Spring Festival holiday were particularly quiet, and the three, engrossed in their work, often found it difficult to locate open restaurants during meal times. To focus on work, Duan Rui sent his wife and child back to her family on the 23rd day of the twelfth lunar month; tall Li Shengfeng fell ill but still appeared on site punctually despite a persistent high fever; He Qidong, who had only been working for two years, worked continuously for 36 hours straight without returning home to care for his sick child, only calling to check on them during breaks. By February 17th, the transformation was basically completed, and all issues on site were properly resolved. Production began ramping up from a daily output of 100 units. During the project's production phase, the three members of the project team were finally able to adjust their working hours from 20 hours a day to 11 hours a day in shifts. Now, the transformed production line has successfully reached production capacity, stably guaranteeing a daily output of 1,150 units. After all their efforts throughout the lunar New Year period, the transformation project is essentially complete.
Although they could not spend the holiday with their families, the three members of the project team successfully met project milestone requirements, safeguarded user interests, and upheld the reputation of our institute. They expressed that while this is a small project, it holds significant meaning for them: for Volkswagen, they aim to respond quickly and reassure users; for our institute, safety comes first to ease company concerns; for themselves, they strive to thoroughly understand Audi's new standards and remain true to their work aspirations.
