On March 1, the equipment sector held the 2016 annual work arrangement and party internal excellence project conference in the fifth-floor conference room of the Ninth Academy. The meeting summarized the work of the equipment sector in 2015, arranged the work for 2016, and established key projects for internal excellence in the equipment sector for 2016. Liu Songping, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the Academy, Liu Shixin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, and Liu Biqi, Deputy Chief Equipment Engineer, were invited to attend the meeting. More than 100 participants attended the meeting, including management personnel above the supervisor level in the equipment sector, senior experts and specialists, party and labor union cadres, as well as various advanced representatives and employee representatives. The meeting was chaired by Teng Jidong, Deputy Director of the Equipment Sector Management Committee.

At the meeting, Li Yunsheng, Director of the Equipment Sector Management Committee, comprehensively summarized and reviewed the achievements and shortcomings in various aspects such as technology research and development, integrated management, market development, factory capacity, and project operation control in 2015. He carefully analyzed the internal and external environment faced by the equipment sector in 2016 and proposed the work guidelines and objectives for 2016. He also detailed specific tasks and measures to implement 'six key focuses' and achieve 'six breakthroughs'.

Teng Jidong, Deputy Director of the Equipment Sector Management Committee, read out the decision on establishing key projects for internal excellence in the equipment sector for 2016 at the meeting. The Tianjin Toyota VOC treatment general contracting project and other production, research and development, and management projects were established as key projects for internal excellence in the equipment sector. Liu Shixin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ninth Academy, personally awarded responsibility letters to each project leader. Relevant department heads responsible for internal excellence projects and representatives of research topics made statements.

At the meeting, Liu Songping, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the Ninth Academy, delivered an important speech. He fully affirmed the achievements of the equipment sector in 2015 and expressed gratitude for all employees' hard work. He pointed out that in 2016, the equipment sector will face a more complex market environment with greater challenges and pressures. He emphasized that the equipment sector should focus on improving efficiency and effectiveness in its annual work. First, it should carry out research and application of new technologies, new products, and intelligent fields to accelerate product transformation and upgrading; second, strengthen standardized and modular development to improve work efficiency; third, collaborate with the Ninth Academy to develop markets effectively, promote specialized operations within the sector, expand market influence, and ensure business objectives are met; fourth, further improve management systems within the sector to accelerate integration; fifth, deepen party building work and team style construction by prioritizing discipline and regulations to promote changes in style among party members and employees while uniting efforts to strive hard for new contributions to the development of the Ninth Academy.
