The Tianjin FAW Toyota New First-Line Project has successfully completed the A-version construction drawings for six major workshops.

[Jiang Nianfa reported] On the eve of the 2016 Spring Festival, the Tianjin FAW Toyota new line project team, under the guidance of the institute and branch leaders, worked together for nearly two months to successfully complete the A-version construction drawings for six main workshops: stamping, welding, assembly, painting, resin, and vehicle testing, according to the original plan. The design team of 32 people produced a total of 1,800 A1 drawings, covering a building area of 226,794 m2. On February 4th, the blueprints were delivered to the owner on time.
During the entire construction drawing design phase, time was tight and tasks were heavy. The Construction Institute adopted a responsible system for this project due to its process being managed by the Japanese side, appointing Zhang Muwei as the project construction leader. This role involved primary responsibilities and ensured timely communication with the owner, improving the timeliness and accuracy of input information while proactively managing the feasibility of completing construction drawing design timelines. Additionally, to ensure smooth completion and quality assurance of the construction drawings, during the critical New Year period, branch leaders led various professional directors to conduct on-site technical reviews in phases at the Toyota project team’s location, strictly controlling quality and promptly resolving technical issues within their specialties and coordination problems among various specialties to safeguard the entire construction drawing design.

The Toyota project team will complete subsequent work with even greater enthusiasm and strive for the smooth implementation of the Toyota new line project, contributing to the start of the '13th Five-Year Plan' for the Ninth Institute.
