On February 4, 2016, the construction engineering company held a work exchange meeting for the 2015-2016 annual period in the fifth-floor conference room of the institute. All employees of the construction engineering company attended the meeting, which was hosted by Song Yu, the deputy chief engineer of the company.
In 2015, the construction engineering company launched a "1+1" growth plan for young employees, which greatly promoted the professional growth of young colleagues. At this meeting, seven young employees shared their experiences based on their work. A total of 12 employees made written speeches at this exchange meeting; seven employees summarized methods for managing quality, safety, progress, and contract management from the perspectives of renovation project management, road network project management, roof waterproofing project management, steel structure installation project management, contract scope and funding plan management, and construction safety management; three employees summarized and introduced their experiences in solving cost issues from the perspectives of claims and counterclaims management, project cost management, and project cost analysis; two colleagues shared practices and insights based on project management at Shanghai Biaoma Construction Engineering Consulting Company and the Ninth Institute. The participants were eager for more interaction and hoped to continue discussions on the above topics.
At the meeting, Sun Lianhong, the general manager of the construction engineering company, fully affirmed the achievements of his colleagues and shared several insights on project team building from three aspects: maintaining confidence and a positive outlook; summarizing and reviewing for continuous improvement; and fostering unity and cooperation for mutual benefit. The colleagues at the construction company are determined to face challenges with courage, actively strive for progress, and work together with enthusiasm to welcome 2016 and contribute their strength to the Ninth Institute.
