On January 29, 2016, the FAW Group Company recognized advanced collectives and individuals within the party and administration for the year 2015. The Ninth Institute was awarded the title of 'Model Unit' again due to its outstanding business performance and significant enhancement of core technical capabilities, successfully completing all operational targets and key tasks assigned by the group company. This marks the third consecutive year that the Ninth Institute has received this honor.

In addition, in this party and administrative evaluation, our institute also received three collective awards and three individual awards. Ma Zhibin was recognized as a model worker of China FAW, Zhang Xing was named an outstanding Communist Party member, Zhou Yimin was recognized as an excellent employee, the Party branch of the Equipment Division was awarded as a model Party branch, the FAW-Volkswagen Qingdao Fifth Factory project was recognized as a model team, and the Structural Room of the Construction Division was awarded as a model group.
