Recently, the FAW-Volkswagen 2016 procurement work conference was held at the headquarters in Changchun. The Ninth Institute was awarded the FAW-Volkswagen "2015 Excellent Supplier" for providing high-quality planning design and technical product services during project construction. This is the third consecutive year that the Ninth Institute has received this honor. Yang Yumin, Deputy General Manager of the Ninth Institute, represented the institute to accept the award and attended the conference.
FAW-Volkswagen is a leading enterprise in China's automotive joint venture brands, dedicated to creating the best automotive joint venture brand in China. As a professional design institute in China's automotive industry, the Ninth Institute practices the core concept of "taking user needs as our responsibility and creating competitiveness for users," building first-class automotive factory construction standards. During the advancement of projects such as Qingdao Plant No. 5, Changchun Audi Q Plant, Foshan Plant Phase II, and Chengdu Phase IV, a specialized team was formed to provide meticulous design services, applying internationally advanced design concepts, digital planning technology, simulation technology, and core technical equipment such as dry spray painting, direct drying, and wax injection. This achieved high-standard rapid construction requirements while reducing costs and ensuring project progress, contributing to optimizing and developing FAW-Volkswagen's capacity layout during the 12th Five-Year Plan.
Looking towards the 13th Five-Year Plan, the Ninth Institute aims to achieve international first-class automotive factory construction standards by deeply promoting the construction of "standardization, digitalization, intelligence, green factories, and productization," comprehensively enhancing core competitiveness to make new contributions to building internationally competitive automotive factories for main engine companies.
