During the New Year's holiday in 2016, Liu Songping, the party secretary and general manager of the company, along with Zhang Kuiqi, the head of the project operation control department, visited the design site of the new first production line at Tianjin FAW Toyota Motor Co., Ltd. They greeted all members of the project team who were still working overtime during the holiday, bringing warm regards from the institute.
Vice President Wang Tianyong provided a comprehensive introduction to President Liu about the work status on site, team human resources, office conditions, and improvements in living conditions. Project leader Zhang Muwei gave a key report on the execution of the plan.
At the office site, President Liu Songping warmly chatted with each team member about work and life, creating a lively atmosphere. President Liu emphasized the importance of controlling total investment, starting with design, and that all specialties must adopt lean design and appropriate design standards. At the same time, President Liu hoped that the Construction Institute would take this project as an opportunity to strengthen effective communication with users and deeply manage aspects such as project management, supervision, and 3D services to extend the profitable industrial chain.
Minister Zhang Kuiqi fully affirmed the on-site team model of the Construction Institute and also hoped that the institute would continue to strengthen close cooperation with other departments to jointly enhance the overall competitiveness of the Ninth Institute.
Nearly 20 members of the Toyota on-site design team from the Construction Institute are working overtime. To meet user progress and quality requirements, everyone is working together to overcome various difficulties day and night. There are core members who insist on working despite being ill, mothers with children under one year old, and young people who came to work on site just one day after donating blood. All team members sincerely thank the institute leaders for their warm greetings and care, expressing their determination to continue working hard to successfully complete this on-site design task and strive to seize market opportunities for a better tomorrow for the Ninth Institute.
