The Ninth Hospital successfully held its first employee skills competition.

On November 28, 2015, the First Employee Skills Competition was successfully held at the Ninth Institute. This represents a further improvement of the employee innovation system at the Ninth Institute and reflects the earnest expectations of the Ninth Institute, Landi Company, and the pilot plant for the improvement of all employees' skill levels.

This competition was organized by the trade union of the Ninth Institute and hosted by the Landi pilot plant. It consisted of nine major trades (rivet work, gas/electric welding, argon arc welding, CNC milling, fitting, bending, crane operation, forklift operation, and electrical panel assembly). A total of 95 contestants from the structural workshop, machining workshop, and electrical workshop eagerly signed up to participate. Each competition was divided into a written test and a practical operation section. Some projects were first selected through preliminary rounds, followed by written tests and practical operations to determine various awards. The competition invited 23 judges including group experts, leaders from the Ninth Institute, foreign experts, and leaders and experts from Landi Company, as well as process engineers from the factory's technology department. This demonstrated strong support and active cooperation from all parties involved in this competition.

After rigorous written tests and a day-long intense practical operation competition on the 28th, the event concluded successfully at 16:30. Under fair and impartial scoring by leaders and experts, the judging panel determined that nine first prizes, twelve second prizes, and seventeen third prizes were awarded across nine competition projects.

The winner of the first prize in rivet work is Pan Jiaguang from the machining workshop. He expressed that although he received the honor of first prize in rivet work, there is still room for improvement in his technical skills. Wang Weimin from the structural workshop won first prize in argon arc welding with his high-level performance. He stated that receiving the first prize is the greatest recognition of his work by the pilot plant. He said: 'We engage in welding work and must endure high temperatures, but due to long-term persistence, my technical experience has gradually improved with accumulation. It is an honor to showcase this at a high level in the skills competition.' Jin Chenglu from the electrical workshop is an experienced electrical panel assembly expert who has always been serious and dedicated to his work. His technical skills are exceptional, making it inevitable for him to win first prize in electrical panel assembly. Such employees will also be a strong help for the pilot plant in training new employees in the future.

Through this competition, a large number of outstanding skilled workers emerged, reflecting the spirit of employees who are diligent in learning, continuously improving themselves, and bravely challenging themselves. This has pointed out a direction for all employees at the pilot plant in their future work.
