[Wei Zhijun reported] On September 7, 2015, the Ninth Institute successfully won the bid for the wax injection line renovation of Shanghai Volkswagen's Second Line VW326/0CS and Changsha Factory SK326/1CS. This bid win is another fruitful achievement following the successful bid for the Second Line VW511 project earlier this year, marking that the wax injection line brand of the Ninth Institute's Landi Company is gradually stepping out of the group and steadily entering the high-end market of the industry.
Shanghai Volkswagen's wax injection line has always used Dürer or Eisenmann technology, and the wax injection line market has long been monopolized by foreign companies. The high investment costs and limitations of subsequent renovations have always troubled Shanghai Volkswagen. Landi Company is the first and only domestic wax injection line supplier recognized and adopted by Shanghai Volkswagen. The recognition and demonstration effect from Shanghai Volkswagen and FAW-Volkswagen play a significant role in establishing the wax injection line brand of the Ninth Institute's Landi Company and promoting it comprehensively in the domestic industry market. Taking the wax injection line project as an opportunity, the Ninth Institute's Landi introduced our institute's technical capabilities and project achievements in painting, assembly, and welding fields to Shanghai Volkswagen, laying a good foundation for future cooperation between our institute and Shanghai Volkswagen.
The bid project involves the upgrade of new Tiguan and Skoda SUV models. The new Tiguan project features mixed production of two models on both PQ35 and MQB platforms, with a short construction period and vertical production transfer, requiring extremely high standards for design, construction, and debugging.
During the project bidding, the leadership of the Ninth Institute's Landi Company carefully planned and deeply managed, with the technical team working in close collaboration. Team members conducted multiple on-site inspections, measurements, and communications at Shanghai Volkswagen, while also inviting users to visit the Ninth Institute to observe our project achievements and processing base.
