On August 6, Xu Ping, Chairman of the Group Company and Secretary of the Party Committee, came to our company for research. General Manager Liu Songping reported the basic situation of the company on behalf of the company's leadership team.

General Manager Liu Songping focused on the company's '12th Five-Year' development goals, which include seizing opportunities, stabilizing traditional businesses, expanding new businesses; improving the R&D system in conjunction with project development; productizing core technologies and optimizing the business structure; applying innovative results and grasping cutting-edge technologies. He reported on the innovations and breakthroughs achieved by the company in various aspects such as process technology, construction technology, equipment technology R&D and manufacturing, basic management, and party building during the '12th Five-Year' period. He summarized the company's contributions to group factory construction, capacity enhancement, business chain extension, and operational structure adjustment during this period. Based on an analysis of the economic, market, and technological internal and external environments for the '13th Five-Year' period, he proposed strategies and directional ideas for market operations and technological R&D. General Manager Liu Songping also reported on the overview of the Ninth Institute and matters requiring support from the group.

After carefully listening to the report, Chairman Xu Ping fully affirmed the achievements of all employees at the Ninth Institute under the leadership team's guidance and recognized the important role of the Ninth Institute in the construction of FAW factories. He pointed out that on one hand, the Ninth Institute has very strong technical capabilities, with process technology, construction technology, equipment technology leading in the industry, especially equipment technology, which is close to world advanced levels in certain aspects; on the other hand, the Ninth Institute has a solid management foundation, including decision-making processes and party building management norms.

Regarding work for the '13th Five-Year' period, Chairman Xu Ping emphasized that first, there must be a sense of crisis and a mindset for change. We need to continue enhancing high-end equipment manufacturing capabilities and fully leverage our advantages in equipment technology; we should go out and continue developing overseas markets; we must continue to improve our consulting and design capabilities. Through innovation-driven adjustments to our business structure, we can achieve sustainable development for the company.

Second, we need to enhance our overall factory contracting and integration capabilities and be adept at integrating advanced technologies as we move towards our overall factory contracting goals.

Third, we should arrange our business adjustments and upgrades around intelligent manufacturing, environmental upgrades, and structural adjustments.

Fourth, we need to further deepen reforms and improve our institutional mechanisms; further stimulate vitality and mobilize enthusiasm by perfecting a scientific and reasonable incentive mechanism; further explore issues related to scientific decision-making mechanisms, risk management, talent cultivation, etc.

Fifth, strengthen party building and enforce strict governance of the party. We need to further enhance party construction and implement responsibilities for strict governance; strengthen leadership team building by being strict with ourselves and putting discipline and rules first; enhance grassroots organization building to fully leverage the role of mass organizations; maintain close ties with the masses and prioritize their interests.

Xu Ping also provided explanations and answers one by one regarding matters that require support from the group as raised by the Ninth Institute.
