The equipment sector held a report meeting on the development achievements of the 3D design platform for mechanical design.

[Qin Yue reported] On February 17, 2012, the Equipment Division of the Ninth Institute held a report meeting on the development results of the mechanical design 3D design platform and a discussion on phase acceptance and future development technical routes in the conference room on the fifth floor. Leaders from the Technical Development Department, leaders from the Equipment Division and Landi Company, leaders from various professional departments, members of the Technical Committee, members of the 3D team, and key technical personnel attended the meeting, totaling more than 70 people. The meeting was chaired by Shao Wei Hua, Chief Engineer of Landi Company. First, Assistant Dean Liu Shixin introduced the work ideas and main tasks of the Equipment Division for 2012 from seven aspects, emphasizing the importance of 3D technology in future design work and market competition, as well as the responsibilities shouldered by key technical personnel and young employees. The following agenda included reports from the non-standard equipment and mechanization professional 3D design promotion teams of the Equipment Division on their work in 2011, followed by a presentation of 3D results by the robotics department of Landi Company. Participants also discussed the development results and future ideas. At the end of the meeting, Minister Teng Jidong of the Technical Development Department and Deputy Chief Engineer Ma Rucheng gave concluding speeches. Both leaders fully affirmed the work of the Equipment Division's development team over the past year, set requirements for future work, and expressed hopes for the integration of the Equipment Division and Landi Company's 3D technology platform. This meeting not only marked the beginning of the integration of 3D technology in the Equipment Division but also represented a part of the comprehensive integration between the Equipment Division and Landi Company. Since the beginning of 2012, professional technical personnel from both sides have started to integrate their professional design work with design projects as a starting point. Although challenges such as different design environments and inconvenient data interaction still exist, leaders and employees at all levels from both sides are working hard to overcome difficulties and promote this work. Currently, many ongoing projects involve joint participation from both design teams. Earlier this month, a professional technical committee was established in the Equipment Division, which has now played an important role in design reviews and other processes. Meanwhile, communication, exchange, and presentations at a technical level among corresponding specialties have also been fully launched. It is believed that through everyone's joint efforts in the Equipment Division, comprehensive integration will be completed smoothly, orderly, and efficiently.
