FAW Hongqi Prosperity Factory Digital System Construction Project
The FAW Hongqi Prosperity Factory produces 200,000 Hongqi new energy passenger vehicles annually, covering five major workshops: stamping, welding, painting, assembly, and battery electric drive. It bears the important responsibility of implementing China FAW's 14th Five-Year Plan for new energy. The Ninth Mechanical Institute has applied an intelligent system overall solution in the digital construction of the FAW Hongqi Prosperity Factory's general contracting project, achieving two significant differences from traditional factories: first, a shift from data flow to data-driven operations; second, based on data control, it has conducted in-depth exploration of data value, injecting new intelligence into the new factory. During this period, the Ninth Mechanical Institute built a self-controllable data resource platform, a data service middle platform, a digital twin platform, and an artificial intelligence development platform, and developed a series of business products and smart products based on these platforms. After application in the Prosperity Factory, the operational indicators such as cost, efficiency, and quality have significantly improved, and it has now become an industry-recognized smart benchmark factory.
The Ninth Mechanical Institute has innovatively elevated the data value of the Hongqi Prosperity Factory to a new industry height by utilizing cutting-edge technologies such as cloud-native, microservices, big data, artificial intelligence, and digital twins. This not only achieved comprehensive penetration of artificial intelligence technology in the production process and highlighted its benefits but also expanded digital twins from a three-dimensional space focused on factories to a four-dimensional space centered on complete vehicle products. It possesses strong foresight, extensibility (production line - workshop - factory), integration (integrating related systems for big data analysis), safety, and reliability. Its breadth of service and value creation capability have reached a leading domestic level and international first-class standard.
